3D Layered Candy Cane SVG

Make a festive 3D candy cane in layered paper. This original cut file has a striped candy cane with a holly sprig and berries, set on a scalloped round plaque with snowflake cutouts. Stack the layers with foam dots to get real depth for shadow boxes, Christmas cards, gift tags, ornaments and wall decor.

The design comes in 8 separate layers, so you cut each colour from its own sheet of cardstock and assemble them in order:

1. Base plaque (scalloped circle with snow dots)
2. Gold outline mat
3. White cane body
4. Red stripes (one connected piece)
5. Cane gloss highlight
6. Holly leaves with cut-out veins

8. Berry shine (optional detail)

Tip: put foam dots between the gold mat and the cane, and under the holly leaves, for the strongest 3D effect. If you cut smaller than about 6 inches, the leaf vein slits get very fine, so use a fresh blade or skip the optional berry shine layer.
