How to use fonts not installed in your PC with Sure Cuts A Lot 4

*note- SCAL4 pro used.

1- Open SCAL4 software.

2- Download a font you would like to use in your project.

3- Once you download your font, unzip it and remember where you have saved it. Do not install the font.

4- Go back into your opened SCAL4 software and click on the library icon.

5- Select the font tab.

6- On the right click on the menu icon (3 lines) and then select load font.

7- find where you saved your font and select it.Click open.

8- a new window will appear showing that the font is now loaded.

9- You can now go into your fonts on the right and select the font that you loaded.

10- Click on the type icon and start typing your text. You will see that it will type in the font that you loaded.

11- You can also select the fill and stroke palette (1) and select to fill your text with colour (2). Once the colour is picked you can click on ok and the text will change colour (3).

12- You can also manipulate the text like you can with installed fonts.
