This design is perfect for a Mother’s Day card.

you will receive a zip folder with an SVG (suitable for most cutting machines) and PNG file (transparent background). If you require another file format please let me know.

Designed to be cut out of card on a cutting machine with a pen tool.

I have cut this design using a cricut cutting machine on white cardstock of 216gsm (80lb) on medium cardstock setting at default pressure.

When you upload the SVG file into your cutting software there will be 3 layers to the file.

You will need to change 2 of the layers from basic cut to ‘draw’ with the pen tool, and you can choose to use 2 different coloured pens at this point (if you have them).

This design was attached/cut centred to a 15x15cm square (6x6 inches), however you can resize to suit the project you’re cutting it for.

Alteratively, you could also create a card template and attach the design to the front to make a card for your mum.

To create a card template, simply choose a square shape and resize this to the card size you’re wanting to make, place a score line down the centre of the card, then resize and centre the design on the right hand side of the card (this will be the front of your card). Then finish off by highlighting the whole design and clicking ‘attach’, your card is now ready to cut!

Once the design has been cut you will need to fold up the partially cut pieces to create that 3d/pop up look. You can then place cardstock of your choice behind the cut design so it shows through.
