This design is perfect for cutting out of card to create a graduation card for someone special, along with an envelope and slim card box template to put it in.
you will receive a zip folder with an SVG file (suitable for most cutting machines) of the card front, card template, an envelope template and a slim square card box template, the complete package for a graduation card!
Designed to be cut out of card.
I have test cut this design using a cricut cutting machine on cardstock of 216gsm (80lb) on medium cardstock setting at default pressure.
All files are presized, so no adjustments will need to be made to the sizes.
There will need to be a few changes made from the files, because an SVG file (also known as a cut file) changes all the lines to ‘cut’.
Card front:
This will be presized the fit the centre of a 4.75” x 4.75” card. Click ungroup, select the layer to be drawn and change the line type under edit from ‘basic cut’ to ‘draw’ with pen, then highlight and attach this layer.
Card template:
This is presized to make a cricut S40 sized card (4.75” x 4.75”). Click ungroup and then select the card insert from the layers panel and put this to the side of the card template, then select the line down the middle and change this from ‘basic cut’ to ‘score’.
You can now place your card front into the centre of the right hand side of this card template, highlight and then click ‘attach’.
Envelope template:
This is presized to fit a 4.75” x 4.75” card. You will need to select the lines in the middle from the layers panel and change this layer from ‘basic cut’ to ‘score’, then highlight and click ‘attach’.
Card box template:
PreSized to fit 4.75” x 4.75” cards. You will receive a card box lid and base.
Once uploaded simply change the layer with the lines inside the base and lid from cut to score and then attach both the base and lid separately.
After making these changes your card, card insert and envelope template are now ready to cut.
Should you have any questions I’m always happy to help.
Happy crafting!
