3D Birthday card | Paper cutting | birthday card SVG

This ‘pop up’/ 3D floral square (6x6”) card template is a digital image, therefore no physical item will be posted to you.

You will receive your files in SVG format which includes:

• card front
• card template (pre-sized to 6x6”)
• card insert template (optional extra)
• envelope template
• 6x6” slim card box template (lid and base)

I have cut this design on a cricut cutting machine.

Once you have uploaded the SVG file into your cutting software it will be pre-sized to make a 6x6” card, you will then need select your chosen card template (plain or insert template) and place the card front onto the right hand side, change the line down the middle form cut to score and then highlight and attach.

with the card template with the insert piece you’ll need to ungroup and then move this square piece to the side and follow the steps above.

Envelope and slim box templates, make sure to change the lines from cut to score and then attach each of these separately.

I used white 200gsm cardstock and cut on the setting ‘medium cardstock’ at default pressure, alternative cutting options for this type of design is ‘cardstock for intricate cuts’ on default pressure.

Once your card has been cut, fold all the partially cut pieces up to give it that ‘pop up’/ 3D look and back the front with your chosen card.

with the slim card box, fold along the score lines and glue to tabs to the inside edges, hold for a few seconds until secure and glue the tabs on the other side.
