* Formally Brother Scan and Cut Canvas
** Note That this new software is downloadable to your PC or laptop.

- Log in to Canvas Workspace.

- Click on the Text icon.

-  Type your text. It will appear in a generic font.

- With the text selected, you will see the top toolbar and the right toolbar change to text settings. Here you can access the font you would like. It is good to note that in the new downloadable version of Canvas Workspace, you can now use your own fonts in the software.
I will be using Garlic Butter from Font Bundles.

- With the text selected, you can change the font color and line color.

- You can also use the offset option. Click on offset.

- A new window will appear. In the offset window, you can change the spacing.

- You can also change the option of the offset being on the inside or outside.

- There is also an option to round the corners or bevel the corners.

- You can also remove the original line or keep it. Once finished, click OK.

- If you click on the Layers tab, you can select each layer on your text.

- If your text is too close together, you can move it with the character spacing.

- You can also separate your text. Select the text and go to Edit > Process Overlap > Divide.

-  Each letter is its own separate layer, and you can change each one by selecting it and changing size and style.
