This stag deer in woodland shadow box design is a great DIY project for you to create a woodland theme Christmas or winter decoration for your home. The shadow box has 9 separate layers and the moon is created using micro LED fairy lights in between the last two layers.
I have created my example in mainly white with a dark blue ‘moon’ layer, but you could use any combination of colours you wish to. I have included sets of handcutting templates for cutting on white paper and sets for cutting on coloured paper.
The layers in the machine files are in colour to make viewing the templates in your software easier.
The materials you will need to complete this project, in addition to these templates are:
- A square shadow box frame
- White and/or coloured paper/card for the shadow box layers
- Foam board or corrugated card to create the spacers
- Micro LED ‘fairy’ lights
There are files that can be used with a cutting machine such as a Cricut or Silhouette or you can download and print the handcutting files and cut with a craft knife/scalpel.
*Please note the SVG files will only work in the desktop version of CanvasWorkspace (Scan N Cut software), they will not work in the web/online version as it has more limited capabilities than the desktop version.
