A Christmas nutcracker book nook paper cut shadow box template. This is the colour collage version of my Christmas-themed book nook shadow box. This shadow box is designed to have micro LED lights at the back so they shine through each of the layers to create a Christmassy atmosphere. Once complete, it will look great nestled on your bookshelf in between your favourite Christmas stories!
The finished size is approximately 10” high by 4” wide by 3” deep.
The download files include templates to make the outer box, templates to create the correct size foam board spacers and the 13 shadow box layers themselves. The materials you will need to complete this project, in addition to these templates are:
- A3 (approx 12” x 16”) card for the outer box
- Various coloured papers/card for the 13 shadow box layers
- Foam board to create the spacers
- Micro LED ‘fairy’ lights
- Glue
There are files that can be used with a cutting machine such as a Cricut or Silhouette or you can download and print the handcutting files and cut with a craft knife/scalpel.

*Please note the SVG files will only work in the desktop version of CanvasWorkspace (Scan N Cut software), they will not work in the web/online version as it has more limited capabilities than the desktop version.
**Please note that the machine cutting outer box and spacer templates are SVG and DXF only (no EPS version)
***Please note that if hand cutting you will need an A3/ 12" printer to print the outer box templates.
