How to centre your designs to cut in Cricut Design Space

1- Log into cricut design space. Click on new project.

2- Click on upload.

3- Click on upload image.

4- Click on browse.

5- Save your image. I am using my valentine has fur collection from

6- Select the saved image and insert image.

7- Select the image. Click on make it.

8- As you can see the image will automatically go to the top left corner.

9- To stop this from happening, you can trick the software to place the image into the centre of your design space and mat. This is good when wanting to create apertures in the middle of a page.

Click on the shape tool.

10- Create a shape 11.5 x 11.5 inches.

11- Select the square and then change the setting from cut to draw.

12- The square will now appear as an outline.

13- With both the design and the square selected, click on align then centre.

14- click on the adjust size arrow on your square and with out moving the top left corner change the size to make the square small.

15- Select both the square and the design and click on attach.  Click on make it.

16-  As you can now see, the design is centered.
